A counselling or therapy session is a place where you can talk, share problems and explore thoughts and feelings in a safe, accepting and confidential environment. Sessions usually take place weekly and having time each week just for you, a time when you can be listened to with openness and acceptance, can be a very healing experience.

The process of therapy or counselling, the personal journey you make, will give you an opportunity to understand how current difficulties and your past experience may be linked. This leads to greater self awareness and personal growth and an opportunity to choose to have things be different in the future.

Jay offers short term work, usually six months, or longer term work, depending on what you feel is right for you. The most important part of therapy or counselling is the relationship that builds between client and therapist. Jay aims to create an environment that feels safe and supportive and offers you the opportunity to explore issues in a confidential and compassionate space.
